La intención de Adobe detrás de todo esto es permitir que los creadores de contenido puedan alcanzar mas equipos/consumidores en las diferentes plataformas. Siempre haciendo referencia a que soportaran equipos con soporte a Flash y incluyen el iPhone, iPod Touch o iPad. No hacen referencia alguna como seria el delivery del contenido a estas plataformas.
