Mucho se ha especulado de la venta del servicio de transmisiones de gaming Twitch y a pesar que sonaba que Google terminaría comprándolo, hay rumores que Amazon está haciendo una oferta.
Fuentes de The Wall Street Journal afirman que la gigante de Internet está en conversaciones con Twitch con una oferta de $1 billón para que el servicio se integre como una compañía de Amazon.
El servicio Twitch ha estado en boca de todos por la naturaleza del poder hacer que transmitas tu juegos y de hecho, se llegó a pensar que Google tenia asegurado la compra de este servicio a la vez que se acrecentaron los rumores y las recientes modificaciones a los términos y condiciones de uso, se asemejan algo parecido a un servicio mediante YouTube.
Habrá que ver como terminará esta guerra de ofertas entre Google y Amazon por Twitch.

In July, more than 55 million unique visitors viewed more than 15 billion minutes of content on Twitch produced by more than 1 million broadcasters, including individual gamers, pro players, publishers, developers, media outlets, conventions and stadium-filling esports organizations.

Twitch launched in June 2011 to focus exclusively on live video for gamers. Under the terms of the agreement, which has been approved by Twitch’s shareholders, Amazon will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Twitch for approximately $970 million in cash, as adjusted for the assumption of options and other items. Subject to customary closing conditions, the acquisition is expected to close in the second half of 2014.
