El acuerdo del 2009 entre LinkedIN y Twitter ha terminado, según revelo la red social para profesionales, en donde ahora la función de sincronizar cuentas de Twitter con perfil LKD tendrá ahora modificaciones a gran escala.
Sharing Professional Content on LinkedIn and Twitter
LinkedIn and Twitter have worked together since 2009 to enable the sharing of professional conversations on both platforms. Since this relationship began, some of you chose to sync your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts to share your professional content, knowledge and expertise.
As Twitter shared earlier today in a blog post from Michael Sippey, they are increasingly focused on “providing the core Twitter consumption experience through a consistent set of products and tools.” Consistent with Twitter’s evolving platform efforts, Tweets will no longer be displayed on LinkedIn starting later today. We know many of you value Twitter as an additional way to broadcast professional content beyond your LinkedIn connections. Moving forward, you will still be able to share your updates with your Twitter audience by posting them on LinkedIn.
How can I continue to share updates on both LinkedIn and Twitter?
Initiate the conversation on LinkedIn. Simply compose your update, check the box with the Twitter icon, and click “Share.” This will automatically push your update to both your LinkedIn connections and your Twitter followers just as you’ve been able to do previously.
What changes can I expect to see on LinkedIn?
If you had previously synced your LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, and selected the option to share Tweets on LinkedIn, those Tweets generated from Twitter will no longer appear on LinkedIn. There will be no other changes to your LinkedIn experience.

Se especula que dos grandes razones del fin del acuerdo es que Twitter quiere enfocarse en su nueva plataforma de Tweets promovidos y no era compatible con el actual acuerdo con LinkedIN y la otra es que parece que a Twitter no le hizo gracia el reciente robo de contraseñas de usuarios de LinkedIN y obviamente Twitter quiere evitar cualquier fango.
