Esto va a poner a brincar en un pie a muchos aunque quizás a otros no, se trata de que algunos developers han comenzado a ver referencias del iOS 7 y del iPhone 6,1 en algunos logs.
One developer showed us that Apple has been testing hardware relating to a new ‘iPhone6,1’ identifier, powered by a device running iOS 7, which is expected to be released by Apple in the middle part of this year. Apple’s current flagship, the iPhone 5, bears the identifiers ‘iPhone5,1’ and ‘iPhone 5,2’ depending on the LTE model of the handset and the 4G bands on which it operates.
Tal parece que Apple ha comenzado a probar nuevo hardware el cuál está siendo identificado como iPhone 6,1 utilizando iOS 7. Actualmente el iPhone 5 se identifica como iPhone 5,1 y iPhone 5,2 esto dependiendo si es el modelo LTE GSM o el CDMA. Cabe una posibilidad de que estos logs sean falsos pero estos developers indican que el IP único que dirige al campus de Apple en Cupertino les lleva a pensar que se trata de algo totalmente legítimo.
Apple mostró lo que sería el próximo iOS en el pasado WWDC 2012.
