Lamentablemente para Samsung se confirmaron las preocupaciones que el segundo trimestre de este año sería difícil aun así con el lanzamiento del Samsung Galaxy S5 y aquí los detalles.
Con ganancias de $7.1 billones, la empresa Samsung comunicó hoy sus resultados del Q2 2014, donde se esperaba que la empresa llegara a los 8 billones de dólares y una increíble caída de 24% en comparación con el año pasado.
En la moneda surcoreana, Samsung esperaba ganancias de 31 won y parte del decline del desempeño de Samsung se llevó por culpa del debilitamiento del dólar americano frente al won coreano y analistas apuntan a que en Asia, la pelea de marcas con Lenovo y Xiaomi ha sido dificultosa también para Samsung.
A pesar que lanzamientos han visto mejores días, Samsung afirma que el Samsung Galaxy S5 está compensando las pérdidas de los primeros 25 días del trimestre con 10 millones de unidades.

Consolidated sales: Approximately 52.0 trillion Korean won

Consolidated operating profit: Approximately 7.2 trillion Korean won
(Range: 7.0 – 7.4 trillion Korean won)
