AT&T Introduces High-Definition Voice in Initial Markets
DALLAS, May 15, 2014 – Beginning May 23, AT&T* is introducing High Definition (HD) Voice** on an all-IP, Voice Over LTE (VoLTE) network in select markets. At AT&T, you won’t have to choose between faster data speeds and crystal clear conversations. HD Voice customers can simultaneously talk while surfing the Web at 4G LTE speeds, all on the nation’s most reliable 4G LTE network*** – it’s the best of both worlds.
HD Voice from AT&T will be enabled on the Samsung Galaxy S®4 mini—which will deliver some of the best software features from the Galaxy S 4 in compact form— with more devices to come. AT&T was the first to deliver Samsung’s Galaxy family of devices; and the introduction of VoLTE HD Voice in collaboration with Samsung marks yet another key milestone in offering the best selection of Samsung Galaxy series in the U.S.
Initially, HD Voice from AT&T will be available in select areas in Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and Wisconsin, and will continue to expand on a market-by-market basis.

Para Mayo 23, los mercados de Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota y Wisconsin serán los primeros mercados de AT&T donde implementaran voz de alta definición que incluirá VoIP y VoLTE como habíamos adelantado hace poco.
Entre las mejoras principales fuera de lo que son llamadas con más calidad, se trata de mejorar el concepto de hablar por teléfono y navegar a la vez al Internet sin que una afecte a la otra como es lo que actualmente se está viendo.
En cuanto a la disponibilidad, AT&T ha indicado que traer Voz en HD y todos sus elementos será entre mercados a mercados y no grupo selectos pero cuando esté disponible SI es necesario que tu celular sea disponible para ello y para empezar la nueva generación de llamadas, AT&T ha escogido el Samsung Galaxy S4 mini quien será el equipo que tenga la capacidad de HD Voice de manera inicial.
