Entre parte de los anuncios con sus resultados financieros, la empresa BlackBerry ha logrado un nuevo acuerdo con poderoso aliado.
Evidenciando que el fuerte ingreso de la empresa BlackBerry registró para el pasado trimestre, fue el de licenciamiento de tecnología y software, Cisco es el nuevo socio para estos mismos propósitos.
Dos gigantes de las telecomunicaciones se unen para compartirse tecnologías en un acuerdo de intercambios de licenciamientos para que Cisco tenga acceso al portfolio de patentes que cuenta BlackBerry, mientras Cisco cuenta con una exclusiva cartera de productos y siendo una de las empresas líderes de las telecomunicaciones y las posibilidades del producto de este junte son variadas.
No es la primera vez que Cisco y BlackBerry tienen acuerdos, pero este es la primera de gran intensidad en tiempos reciente.

WATERLOO, ONTARIO and SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA–(Marketwired – June 23, 2015) – BLACKBERRY Limited (NASDAQ:BBRY)(TSX:BB) and Cisco (NASDAQ:CSCO) today announced that they have entered into a long-term patent cross-licensing agreement covering their respective products and technologies.
As part of the cross-licensing agreement, BlackBerry will receive a license fee from Cisco. Specific terms of the deal are confidential.
