Foxconn es la más reciente fuente de ingreso de Cyanogen

Pues los que siguen las noticias de Cyanogen de como un grupo dedicado a ROMs personalizados de Android, ahora una empresa incorporada sigue recibiendo inversiones de grupos de terceros y ahora el reciente inversionista es una entidad muy conocida.

Sorpresa de la semana, y no es el hecho que Cyanogen como empresa continúe recibiendo inversiones de otras empresas, pero de la entidad que le da su dinero en pro que proyectos como el nuevo Cyanogen OS arranque se trata nada más y nada menos que de Foxconn.

La compañía conocida por el ensamblaje principal de iPhone, BlackBerry y otras marcas reconocidas no le pesó la cartera en dar dinero para Cyanogen, lo malo es que el siguiente comunicado de prensa no da detalles de que fueron la cantidad, pero se sabe que Foxconn fue parte de la tercera parte de inversiones que totalizó $70 millones desde el pasado mes de Enero.

Evidentemente, a parte de Cyanogen OS, es muy probable que Cyanogen tenga proyectos guardados, tomando en cuenta que se presume que la empresa ha logrado más de $110 millones en el tiempo que han estado logrando el aval de distintos inversionistas que ya incluyen a Microsoft.
