En un acuerdo que saldremos los consumidores beneficiados, las empresas BlackBerry LTD y Trend Micro han anunciado un acuerdo para la creación de solución en contra del malware.
BlackBerry ha anunciado que va a trabajar con Trend Micro para ampliar la protección a los clientes contra el malware y los problemas de privacidad presentes en aplicaciones de terceros.
Se va a utilizar el servicio de escaneo para analizar las aplicaciones que se envían a BlackBerry World.
Todos hemos conocido Trend Micro durante mucho tiempo y ahora BlackBerry siempre se ha caracterizado por ser grandes cuando se trata de seguridad, y no se va a arriesgar a uno de sus mejores características con el nuevo BlackBerry 10.

BlackBerry to Use Trend Micro’s App Scanning Service to Further Analyze Apps Submitted to BlackBerry World
WATERLOO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – February 04, 2013) – BlackBerry® (NASDAQ: BBRY)(TSX: BB) today announced that it is working with Trend Micro Incorporated, a global leader in cloud security, to expand the protection it already provides to BlackBerry customers against malware and privacy issues related to third-party applications.
As part of a multi-level and phased approach for addressing privacy implications and security concerns, BlackBerry will incorporate the Trend Micro™ Mobile Application Reputation Service with its current internal, proprietary system for analyzing applications. With the cloud-based Trend Micro Mobile Application Reputation Service, both current and new applications submitted to the BlackBerry® World™ storefront will be scanned for potential malicious behavior.
