La megatienda de video juegos Gamestop se disculpa luego de una fallida promoción de un nuevo juego que fue estrenado esta semana.
Gamestop se ha disculpado luego de sorpresivamente retirar una promoción que tenían para el estreno del juego Deus Ex: Human Revolution para computadoras, el cual incluía un cupón para contenido en internet valorado en $50 y la situación le cayó como balde de agua fría a muchos que esperaban el juego y estaban listos para explotar el cupón.
Mientras el CEO de Gamestop, Paul Raines menciona:
Dear GameStop customer,
Earlier this week, GameStop removed a competitor’s coupon from standard edition PC versions of Deus Ex: Human Revolution, a recent release by Square Enix. We were not aware that the product box would contain this competitor’s offer. We regret the events surrounding this title release and that our customers were put in the middle of this issue between GameStop and Square Enix, the publisher of this game. And for this, we are truly sorry.
